✍️ Expression — What’s alive in me right now?

Psychological role: Emotional processing and self-contact.

Expression is where inner experience becomes externalized. Thoughts, feelings, tensions, half-formed ideas—things that become overwhelming if they stay unexpressed.

This section helps a person:

  1. Move experiences out of their head and into a visible form
  2. Process emotions instead of suppressing or over-intellectualizing them
  3. Develop language for subtle inner states

Why it’s essential

  1. Unexpressed material doesn’t disappear—it leaks out as stress, avoidance, or projection
  2. Psychological growth requires contact with what’s actually there, not what should be there
  3. Expression precedes insight; you can’t clarify what you haven’t surfaced

🧠 Psychologically: Expression lowers emotional pressure and increases self-trust (“I can face what’s inside me”).

In short:

Expression answers “What am I actually experiencing?”
