However, there is also another, less obvious reason for our rocket-driven communication.
And it can be found how our our inner life was unmet or unvalidated as children.
If we grew up in an environment unable to receive and hold our emotional life, we learned that we had to build mechanisms, both internal and external, to help us address them.
So that's what we keep doing. We keep building and explaining the rockets which we imagine will nourish us, rather than communicating the emotional fuel and yearning which drives our vision of a better world.
Because it feels safer. Less painful. And it's the way we have learned to cope with our emotional needs and pains.
