- Press Orientation
Why it matters
Seeing people and things one at a time is not the same as seeing how they belong together. The links stay in your head — who belongs with whom, what belongs together. Holding all of those links is exactly what working memory cannot do. Then you put off connecting them, or you guess.
When the connections are in front of you, you can make the link right away. You do not have to carry the whole picture alone in your head.
